Given, as you write... "It reveals no evidence that demand in the NHS is rising, at least not value demand. It questions whether the belief that an ageing population is a problem. And it reveals patient expectation to be an opportunity to design for perfect, reduce costs and improve morale rather than the negative "problem" it is often described as. It also reveals that the NHS over diagnoses, over supplies and over treats creating harm and cost that runs into the billions of pounds."
ReplyDelete...it would be good to understand how widely this has all been appreciated.
I'm looking forward to the principles of putting these opportunities into effect: I worry that I only hear about this systems thinking approach by coming to look for it, not so much in mainstream media.
