ReplyDeleteA lot of the problems can be traced back to inadequate leadership and or management. Is this the fault of those in leadership and or management positions? Not completely if those concerned have never undergone the requisite training, upskilling and mentoring. It has been said that the human resource component of the health sector is only being 70% utilised.
How often does one witness a new strategy being announced but because of imperfect implementation[with the reasons being multifactorial]the hoped for outcomes are not realised?
I agree that this whole topic requires closer examination
